Christ Powered Ministries exists to bring the Word and the Love of Christ to young people and adults. In doing so, we know that Jesus Christ will be exalted and people will come into a vital, passionate relationship with the Savior. In turn, they will be equipped and encouraged to impact their generation for the Kingdom of God.
CPM was established as a 501c3 student mission organization in 2007. Founder and President of CPM, Rev. Darryl Riden, is an ordained Southern Baptist student ministry veteran with 28 years of experience reaching students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching, evangelism, domestic and international missions, student counseling, and leadership training in theology and apologetics and more recently Orphan care internationally.
Darryl and the CPM Team have led hundreds of young people to Christ and have a deep desire to raise up a new generation of Bible-believing, soul-winning student leaders regionally and nationally.

What we Believe...
Our Vision...
CPM is not a complex ministry vision. It is not “cutting edge” or the next new ministry trend. It is actually getting to the very basics of historical, Christ centered outreach. This simply means that CPM is about sharing the Gospel and leading people to Christ, building Bible based ministries and challenging young people to embrace the Great Commission. We must stand up now and hold out the Word of Life to this, and future generations. We must go where students are and bring them hope in Jesus’ name.
-We believe that salvation is in Christ alone and that one must repent of sin and by faith receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
-We believe that Jesus paid the full penalty of sin for all people on the cross and salvation is available to all who will freely receive that Gift of divine grace. Salvation is possible only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the perfect sacrificial Lamb of God.
-We believe in the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
-We believe in the Trinity, the Godhead: God is revealed in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who are eternally One.
-We believe Christians are the temple of God and that the Holy Spirit lives and operates in every believer.
-We believe the Holy Bible is God’s revealed Word to mankind and that the original writings were inspired by the Holy Spirit, infallible, and inerrant.
-We believe that the universe and all creation was created by God through Jesus Christ.
-We believe in the Virgin birth of Jesus Christ: Fully man, fully God.
-We believe in a literal Heaven and Hell.
-We believe that the mission of the Church is to proclaim Christ to a lost and dying world, to live holy lives, and to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, all for His glory.
-We believe in a literal rapture of the Church, the Tribulation, the Second Coming
of Jesus Christ, and His Millennial reign.
-We believe young people need to know that Christianity is not a “ball and chain”…not rules and regulations that bind the human soul. They need to see that Jesus holds out enormous love and grace, He is the true freedom and salvation they so desperately long for. In Christ alone they will find true peace, love, and eternal life.
