              Jesus Christ Saves!

The Bible, God's Holy Word, says that you and I, along with all of mankind have sinned against God and are separated from Him.

"All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:23

"For the invisible things of Him (God) from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (man), even His eternal  power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were they thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools...who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature, more than the Creator, who is blessed forever, Amen."       -Romans 1:20-25

The penalty for our sin is eternal separation from God.

"..it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment." -Hebrews 9:27

"So then every one of us will give account of himself to God."  -Romans 14:12

"And I saw a great white throne and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works...and death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."

-Revelation 20:11-15

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

-Romans 6:23

The Cross of Christ is God's remedy for our sin:

"But God commends His love towards us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him."

-Romans 5:8-9

"In whom we have redemption through His (Jesus) blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."  -Ephesians 1:7

Jesus is the Only way to Heaven and the only hope for reconciliation of sinful man to God.

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."   -John 14:6

"Jesus said unto her, 'I am the resurrection and the life; he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Believeth thou this?"   -John 11:25-26

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating each other. But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost."   -Titus 3:4-5

"Giving thanks unto the Father...Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son; In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins."  Colossians 1:12-14

The Gospel (Good News) of Christ is that we can be saved from our sin and eternal destruction. We can have life eternally through the blood bought redemption of Jesus. The Bible tells us we must repent (turn away) of our sins and trust Christ for our salvation.

"Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  -Romans 10:13

"But if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."    -Romans 10:9

"For by grace are you saved through faith; and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast."   -Ephesians 2:8-9

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new."        -2 Corinthians 5:17

Heaven Awaits!

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and earth were passed away; and there was no more sea..And I, John, saw the holy city coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, 'Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.'

And God shall wipe away all the tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things have passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new!"

                                                                                                         -Revelation 21:1-5
